It accomplishes roughly the same thing without needing a 3rd party app and gives me control over it. I'm not highly proficient in Powershell at all, so if I can do it, anyone can! Just woke up, so let me grab a cup of coffee and I'll throw it up there for you.
I'm certain people with far more experience than I could do far better, but it works for me and was as much an exercise in learning Powershell as anything else. Nothing fancy, and was definitely more me trying to find out how PowerShell works than anything, but it's a handy little tool to run on our breakroom computers at work to clear out the clutter.

New version from official source is fine - just upload. The program became unnecessary many years ago. In my experience, they've been a placebo at best since about, and a malware vector at worst. In hindsight, I doubt any of those cleaners did anything to help my machine since the late 90s the old Norton Utilities were great for Win 3.

All of it's features are either easily doable through Windows natively or just flat out pointless. Are you using a bit system? The issue was only towards bit systems. If you're having bit you don't need to worry.

This is the link at Piriform that I use. Every Download link on the piriform pages takes you there. Not sure how you got where you are showing. Scroll down from that page and hit "builds page". The standard download is for the 4MB download, like I said, they may have stopped bundling it at some point but it used to have a toolbar option in the installer.
Thus the Builds page showing different sizes and labels. So I wonder what that extra MB is for now.. I just installed from the download sites I mentioned and there were no additional installs from either Filehippo or Piriform.
Don't know why one would go to a Build page when trying to down load CCleaner Free unless you are looking for something extra.
